AutoImmunity Community greatly respects your privacy. Any information that you provide
is kept in the strictest confidence and at no time is sold to a third party or advertiser.
AutoImmunity Community undertakes to honor or exceed the legal requirements of the United States regarding
the privacy of medical/health information. We do not attempt to comply with the legal requirements for privacy
of any other country.
All information provided to AutoImmunity Community at the time of registration is kept on a secure database
that is only accessible by AutoImmunity Community's webmaster. The only information that is required at the
time of registration is the user's email address. Data provided in the "Profile Information" section of registration
(location, occupation, etc.) is viewable by everyone, and is therefore completely optional.
Also, please note that any information that you include in your posts, including personal medical information, is not secure and can be viewed by
anyone visiting the site.
Information is kept on our database for two reasons: 1) AutoImmunity Community's own statistics, and
2) so that we can keep in touch with our members. For example, bi-monthly, AutoImmunity Community
may send out emails to its members to inform them of updates to the site, upcomming events, etc.
